Southeast Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SeABank) has built “SeAGreen Garden”, showcasing its commitment to environmental protection and sustainable development. This is a part of SeABank’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, aiming to spread green values across the community.
SeABank’s “SeAGreen Garden” is scheduled in January 2025 with various trees, including: Bauhinia variegata, Tabebuia, Floss silk, and Cassia fistula. These trees are planted at Legend Valley Country Club located in Tuong Linh Commune, Kim Bang District, Ha Nam Province. The garden is a collaborative effort involving contributions and active participation of SeABank’s leaders and employees. Each tree not only represents the day of the gathering but is also a gift for future generations. In the upcoming time, "SeAGreen Garden" will be scaled up to be a symbol of connection, consensus, and the joint effort towards green future.
In recent years, afforestation has become one of SeABank’s prioritized green initiatives, aiming at environmental protection, ecosystem preservation, and sustainable forestry development. It also aligns with one of SeABank’s five core values - “Community-oriented”.
Joining the government’s “Plant One Billion Trees Program 2021-2025”, SeABank has donated over 350,000 trees to different provinces (Thanh Hoa, Dak Lak, Ha Tinh, Long An, Lao Cai) to drive economic growth associated with afforestation and reforestation, and promote biodiversity conservation.
