On December 13, 2023, within the framework of the Vietnam Sustainable Business Awards 2023 organized by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and the Vietnam Business Council for Sustainable Development (VBCSD), Southeast Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SeABank, stock code: SSB) was honoured for the 6th time in the Top 100 Sustainable Businesses in Vietnam (CSI 100). This recognition reflects the outstanding efforts of the bank in maintaining strong growth momentum, optimizing human resources, and efficiently implementing sustainable development activities. In addition, to extend love to impoverished cancer patients, SeABank continues its support for the Tomorrow's Bright Day Cancer Patient Support Fund with a donation of 500 million VND, aiming to provide additional motivation for those in need.

The Vietnam Sustainable Business Awards 2023 (CSI 2023) program this year attracted over 500 interested businesses, with 159 businesses evaluated. Surpassing rigorous evaluation criteria, SeABank proudly secured a place in the Top 100 Sustainable Businesses in Vietnam. This marks the 6th time the bank has been honoured with this prestigious award. The CSI 100 program is organized in collaboration with VCCI, the Central Economic Committee, the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA), the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MONRE), and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL).

This year's program underwent comprehensive restructuring, making the structure clearer, and more accessible, and quantifying many business production activities. CSI 2023 is divided into 7 parts, as opposed to the previous 3 parts, and comprises 130 indicators, with 63% focusing on compliance and 37% on improvement. Specifically, the CSI 2023 Index integrates quantitative indicators to assess the three-year sustainable development process of businesses from 2020 to 2022 in the economic, social, and environmental domains.
